We have partnered with KPC to offer the Accuplacer here at Nikiski High two weeks from today on Monday, April 10th. Sign up by next Wednesday, April 5th! Come to the Counseling Office to pick up the necessary forms as soon as possible. Limited seating. You’ll also need to bring $18 day of testing (cash—exact change—or check made out “KPC”). Again, the test will be Monday, April 10th at 11:45am in the Library but you’ll need to turn in all forms the week before.
NOTE: Accuplacer is the mandatory placement test at KPC. Students planning to take Jumpstart courses (at 1/3 of the cost) at KPC as high school students OR students planning to attend KPC as college students next year must take it.
Anyone interested in being a volunteer for Nikiski Middle/High School must submit a volunteer application online at the District Website.. The process for applying to be a volunteer has remained the same. However, due to a change in background check providers, the turnaround time for a volunteer application will take longer than in previous years. Routine background checks will take 7 to 10 days. Please plan accordingly if you plan on volunteering and call the school with any questions.
